Captain And Tennille

Captain and Tennille were a husband-and-wife duo made up of singer-songwriter Toni Tennille (born May 8, 1940) and singer-keyboardist Daryl Dragon (August 27, 1942 – January 2, 2019). They are best known for their 1976 chart-topping hit, "Love Will Keep Us Together".

The duo released five studio albums between 1975 and 1979, including their debut album, Love Will Keep Us Together, which featured their chart-topping hit. Their second album, Song of Joy, was released in 1976 and featured the Top 20 single "The Way I Want to Touch You". Their third album, Come in from the Rain, was released in 1977 and featured the Top 10 single "Muskrat Love". Their fourth album, Dream, was released in 1978 and featured the Top 20 single "Do That To Me One More Time". Their fifth and final album, Make Your Move, was released in 1979 and featured the Top 10 single "Do That To Me One More Time".

The duo's most popular songs include "Love Will Keep Us Together", "The Way I Want to Touch You", "Muskrat Love", "Do That To Me One More Time", and "Shop Around".

An interesting fact about Captain and Tennille is that they were the first musical guests to appear on the popular late night show Saturday Night Live.
