Captain Beefheart Vinyl Records

Captain Beefheart (born Don Van Vliet) was an American musician, singer-songwriter, visual artist, and poet. He was the leader of the surrealist blues band Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band.

The Magic Band released a number of albums during the 1960s and 1970s, including Trout Mask Replica (1969), Safe as Milk (1967), Lick My Decals Off, Baby (1970), and Clear Spot (1972). They also released several singles, including "Sure 'Nuff 'N Yes I Do" (1967), "Abba Zaba" (1968), and "Diddy Wah Diddy" (1968).

The most successful of the band's albums was Trout Mask Replica, which is considered one of the most important records of the era. The album was an experimental work combining elements of blues, avant-garde jazz, and psychedelia.

An interesting fact about Captain Beefheart is that he was a self-taught musician and artist. He never received any formal training and developed his own unique style of music and artwork.
