Cate Brothers Vinyl Records

The Cate Brothers are an American rock and soul duo formed in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 1967 by Earl and Ernie Cate. Their sound blends southern soul, rock, and blues, and has been described as a mix of Stax Records soul and the Beatles.

The Cate Brothers first gained recognition in 1973 with their self-titled debut album, which featured the hit single "Union Man". This album was followed by several other successful releases, such as 1975's All The Time In The World, 1977's Band Together, and 1978's Cate Brothers Band.

The Cate Brothers have been credited with producing some of the best soul/rock records of the 1970s, and their songs have been covered by many artists, including Elton John, Joe Cocker, and Bonnie Raitt. Some of their most popular songs include "Union Man", "Love Is A Fire", "No Easy Way Down", and "Too Much Pride".

An interesting fact about the Cate Brothers is that they have been inducted into both the Arkansas Music Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
