Jerry Goldsmith Vinyl Records

Jerry Goldsmith was an American composer and conductor, who composed scores for many classic films such as The Omen, Planet of the Apes, Alien, and Chinatown. He also wrote scores for television shows such as Star Trek, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., and Magnum P.I.

Goldsmith was nominated for 18 Academy Awards throughout his career, winning one for the score of The Omen in 1976. He was nominated for five Grammy Awards and received three Primetime Emmy Awards.

His standout albums include The Omen, The Wind and the Lion, and Chinatown. His best-known songs are probably "Theme from Star Trek" and "The Main Title from The Omen".

An interesting fact about Jerry Goldsmith is that he composed the score for Star Trek: The Motion Picture when he was only 45 years old, making him the youngest composer to ever work on a Star Trek film.
