Microstoria Vinyl Records

Microstoria was an experimental musical group that was founded in 1995 by the American composer and musician Marcus Schmickler. The group's sound was a combination of experimental electronic music and acoustic instruments. The group released four studio albums from 1995 to 2002.

The group's first album, Model 1 (1995), was a collaboration between Schmickler and Japanese musician Tetsu Inoue, and featured a mix of acoustic and electronic elements. Their second album, Imbroglio (1997), featured a more experimental sound, with a mix of drones and found sounds.

Their third album, Snd (2000), was a collaboration with British electronic musician and producer Mark Fell, and featured a blend of ambient, glitch, and minimal techno sounds. Their fourth and final album, Visible Spectrum (2002), featured a mix of acoustic and electronic elements and was a collaboration with German experimental musician Hecker.

Some of the group's standout albums and songs include "Model 1," "Imbroglio," "Snd," "Visible Spectrum," "The Day Dreamer's Gaze," "The Dream of the Omniscient," and "At the Threshold."

An interesting fact about Microstoria is that the group performed live only once, in 1997 in Tokyo.
