The Firesign Theatre was a comedic improvisational group made up of four members – Peter Bergman, Phil Austin, David Ossman, and Phil Proctor. The group began in the late 1960s and produced over a dozen albums, along with writing for television and film.

Their most iconic albums include "Don't Crush That Dwarf, Hand Me the Pliers" (1970) and "I Think We're All Bozos on This Bus" (1971). These two albums feature some of their most popular songs, such as "The Further Adventures of Nick Danger" and "Nick Danger in the Case of the Missing Yolks".
