Yello is an electronic music band from Switzerland, formed in 1979 by Boris Blank and Dieter Meier. The band's most successful and well-known single is "Oh Yeah," which was featured in the 1986 movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Other popular songs include "The Race," "Vicious Games," "Desire," and "Lost Again."

Yello's debut album Solid Pleasure was released in 1980 and was followed by the 1981 album Claro Que Si. The band achieved international success with the 1984 album Stella and its singles "The Race" and "Oh Yeah." The album was produced by former Beatles producer George Martin. The 1988 album Flag was the band's highest charting album in the US, reaching No. 83 on the Billboard 200 chart.

In the 1990s, Yello released several albums and singles, including "Tied Up," "Rubberbandman," and "Jungle Bill." Their most recent studio album was Toy, released in 2016.

An interesting fact about Yello is that they provided the music for the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo.
