Alice In Chains Vinyl Records

Alice In Chains is an American rock band formed in 1987 in Seattle, Washington. The band is composed of founding members Jerry Cantrell (vocals, guitar), Sean Kinney (drums), and Mike Starr (bass). Lead singer Layne Staley passed away in 2002 and was replaced by William DuVall in 2006.

Alice In Chains is considered to be part of the grunge movement of the 1990s and is often referred to as one of the "big four" alongside Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Soundgarden. Their debut album Facelift (1990) featured the singles "Man in the Box" and "Would?", and was followed by the critically acclaimed albums Dirt (1992) and Alice In Chains (1995). Other standout albums include the acoustic-oriented Unplugged (1996) and Black Gives Way to Blue (2009).

The band has released a number of hit singles throughout their career, including "Rooster", "Down in a Hole", "Heaven Beside You", and "No Excuses".

An interesting fact about Alice In Chains is that they were the first grunge band to have a music video air on MTV. The video was for their song "Man in the Box" from the album Facelift.
