The only young songwriter from the Canadian prairies, more precisely Saskatchewan, impresses with a rough baritone and accompanies himself with expressively played folk & bluegrass guitar or banjo pickings and a bass drum that he plays with the back shoe heel. His idols are Hank Williams, Robert Johnson, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Townes Van Zandt and The Band, even a William Elliot Whitmore could have been the godfather here. His first EP "Imaginary Appalachian" was released in 2015.His live audience is left speechlessly impressed by his mature voice and the appropriate songwriting. His debut album was produced by Dave Cobb and contains his own songs as well as "Snake Mountain Blues" by Townes Van Zandt).
