  • The wise, self-confident sentence, according to which the spirit may blow where it wants, Earth & Wind & Fire interpret with captivating clarity. Quiet tones and the modest gesture are simply not the thing of the colorful Afro troupe, who weld together ancient Egyptian pharaonic mysticism and urban street life in their live acts.

That this spirit, follows the record title and even blows violently, guarantees in the early years of the troupe not only the scratchy brass personnel. Also rhythmically the band drives pretty much everything on, in order to pave the parquet with pressure-full Disco patterns, in addition, finely steered high voice tastefully to pepper. From these basic materials emerge highly cultivated and expressive vocals as in "Imagine", meticulously balanced ballads ("Burnin' Bush"), as well as danceable pressure sound, which convincingly redeems its reminiscent title "Saturday Nite".

The extremely wide musical trapeze in the circus of Earth, Wind & Fire put on the formula, describes a big band sound that is "innovative but popular, precise yet sensual, calculated yet rousing" (Rolling Stone magazine).

This Speakers Corner production was made using 100% pure analog master tape and mastering. All licenses and GEMA contributions have been paid.
