Limited edition marbled white and whiskey brown vinyl
Cut from the original masters
Atlantic Records is reissuing Pantera's classic five albums on colored vinyl. Great Southern Trendkill, Cowboys From Hell, Reinventing The Steel, Far Beyond Driven and Vulgar Display Of Power will all be reissued as exclusive colored vinyl editions. Heavy Metal thrashers Pantera broke up in 2003. Guitarist Dimebag Darrell was the victim of a tragic shooting in 2004 while playing with his band Damage Plan.
Cowboys From Hell is on "marbled white and whiskey brown," Vulgar Display of Power is on "marbled white and true metal gray," Far Beyond Driven is on "marbled white and stronger than blue," The Great Southern Trendkill is on "marbled white and sandblasted orange," and Reinventing the Steel is on "marbled white and southern flames yellow."
"Pantera's breakthrough album, Cowboys From Hell, is largely driven by the band's powerful rhythm section and guitarist Diamond Darrell (as he was then known)'s unbelievably forceful riffing, which skittered around the downbeats to produce unexpected rhythmic phrases and accents, as well as his inventive soloing. Phil Anselmo displayed a vocal range that could switch from a growling shout to a high falsetto." — All Music Guide
