  • The legendary sixth Pink Floyd album finally back on vinyl
This is what the vinyl lovers among the Pink Floyd fans have been longing for. The rock legends are releasing all their albums again as LPs bit by bit. In June 2016, the first four albums of the band were released, followed by more albums in August. In September the series will now be continued, among others with "Meddle".

"Meddle" is the sixth longplayer of Pink Floyd. The album was originally released on October 30, 1971 and is generally regarded as Pink Floyd's musical evolution from psychedelic rock to art rock.

The album celebrated great success and reached number 3 in the UK album charts. In the USA "Meddle" received double platinum.

Most of the songs were created in collaboration with Roger Waters, Dave Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright. Meddle" was recorded between January and August 1971 at Air Studios, Abbey Road Studios and Morgan Studios.

All songs of the new edition were remastered by James Guthrie, Joel Plante and Bernie Grundman.

At the same time as "Meddle", Pink Floyd have also reissued "Atom Heart Mother" and "Obscured By Clouds". All Reissues of the series are released on 180 g vinyl. The cover artwork is always the original design.

Finally: With "Meddle", Pink Floyd's sixth album is available as LP for the first time in years.

    Reviews
"In October 1971 then the album was released with Meddle, with which Pink Floyd finally left the psychedelic style of their early days and therefore Syd's Said goodbye to music influenced by Barrett. Songwriting and lead vocals wandered more and more towards David Gilmour, best example is the quiet acoustic piece "A Pillow of Winds," which goes straight on the one hand, which is dominated by driving bass runs Instrumental number 'One Of These Days' follows." (Good Times, December 2016 / January 2017)
