BadBadNotGood Vinyl Records

BadBadNotGood is a Canadian instrumental music group from Toronto, Ontario. The band consists of Matthew Tavares on keys, Chester Hansen on bass, Alexander Sowinski on drums, and Leland Whitty on saxophone.

BadBadNotGood was founded in 2010 when the band members were still in high school. After playing a series of covers, they released their debut album BBNG in 2011. The album gained the attention of Tyler, the Creator, who collaborated with them on the track “Orange Juice” from the album Goblin.

Their breakout album, III, was released in 2014. The album featured collaborations with hip-hop artists Ghostface Killah and MF DOOM. The album’s success led to their first North American tour.

In 2017, the band released their fourth album, IV, which featured collaborations with Snoop Dogg and Kaytranada. The album was well-received, and the single “Time Moves Slow” became a fan favorite.

The band has since released their fifth album, V, which features collaborations with Mick Jenkins, GoldLink, and KAYTRANADA.

An interesting fact about BadBadNotGood is that they are the house band on the Netflix show, The Final Table.
