Bon Jovi

Bon Jovi is an American rock band formed in 1983 in Sayreville, New Jersey. The band is composed of lead singer and namesake Jon Bon Jovi, keyboardist David Bryan, drummer Tico Torres, guitarist Phil X, and bassist Hugh McDonald.

The band's most successful and widely known album is Slippery When Wet, which was released in 1986 and included the hits "You Give Love a Bad Name", "Livin' On a Prayer", and "Wanted Dead or Alive". This album is credited with launching the band to mainstream success, and has since sold more than 28 million copies worldwide.

The band's second most successful album is 1987's New Jersey, which spawned the hit single "Bad Medicine". Other popular albums include Have a Nice Day (2005) and Lost Highway (2007).

In addition to their studio albums, Bon Jovi has released several compilation albums, live albums, and video albums. Notable singles include "It's My Life" (2000) and "Have a Nice Day" (2005).

An interesting fact about Bon Jovi is that Jon Bon Jovi once worked as a janitor in his high school and performed in local clubs as a teenager.
