Cold Chisel

Cold Chisel is an Australian rock band that formed in Adelaide in 1973. The original members included Ian Moss (guitar, vocals), Don Walker (keyboards, songwriter), Phil Small (bass), and Steve Prestwich (drums). The band achieved national fame in 1978 with the release of their debut album, Cold Chisel, and quickly established themselves as one of the most popular bands in Australia.

Their standout albums include their 1981 breakthrough East, which featured their hit single "Flame Trees," and the 1984 swan song Twentieth Century. The band's biggest selling album is the multi-platinum selling East. It features classic Cold Chisel songs such as "Cheap Wine," "Forever Now," and "Saturday Night," which has become an Australian anthem.

Some of their other well-known songs include "Khe Sanh," "Bow River," and "You Got Nothing I Want."

An interesting fact about Cold Chisel is that they are one of the only Australian bands to have all their original members still alive and still performing together.
