Dave Edmunds Vinyl Records

Dave Edmunds is a Welsh singer-songwriter and record producer who first gained recognition in the late 1960s as a member of the British rock group Love Sculpture. Edmunds was born in Cardiff, Wales in 1944 and developed an interest in music at a young age. He learned to play guitar and later joined several bands, eventually joining Love Sculpture in 1967. The group released two successful albums, "Blues Helping" and "Forms and Feelings," and released a number of popular singles, including "Sabre Dance" and "River to Another Day."

After leaving Love Sculpture in 1970, Edmunds embarked on a solo career and released his self-titled debut album in 1972. His next album, "Subtle as a Flying Mallet," featured the hit single "I Hear You Knocking" and launched Edmunds into international stardom. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Edmunds released a number of successful albums and singles, including "Tracks on Wax 4," "Repeat When Necessary," "Information," and "Riff Raff."

Some of Edmunds' most popular songs include "I Hear You Knocking," "Girls Talk," "Queen of Hearts," "Slipping Away," and "From Small Things (Big Things One Day Come)."

An interesting fact about Dave Edmunds is that he has produced and/or played on albums by a variety of artists, including Nick Lowe, Elvis Costello, and The Stray Cats. He has also been a member of the supergroup Rockpile, which released one album in 1980.
