Henry Mancini (1924-1994) was an American composer, conductor and arranger who is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in popular music of the 20th century. He composed the soundtracks for some of the most iconic films of all time, including Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Pink Panther and Charade. He also wrote numerous popular songs, including the Academy Award-winning "Moon River".

Mancini's most popular albums include Music from Peter Gunn (1959), The Music from Mr. Lucky (1960), Hatari! (1962) and The Pink Panther (1964). His songs have been recorded by a wide range of artists, including Tony Bennett, Andy Williams, Ella Fitzgerald and Paul McCartney.
