Jethro Tull is a British rock band formed in 1967. Led by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Ian Anderson, they are one of the most successful and influential progressive rock bands of all time. They have released 30 studio albums, with 11 of them reaching the UK Top 10 and four of them reaching the US Top 10.

Their most successful albums include Aqualung (1971), Thick as a Brick (1972) and Heavy Horses (1978). Standout tracks from these albums include “Aqualung,” “Locomotive Breath,” “Thick as a Brick,” “Living in the Past,” and “Bungle in the Jungle.”

An interesting fact about Jethro Tull is that they were one of the first bands to use flute as a lead instrument in rock music, which Ian Anderson did to great success.
