Miles Davis was an American jazz musician who was one of the most influential and innovative musicians of the 20th century. He was born on May 26th, 1926 in Alton, Illinois and began playing trumpet at the age of 13. After moving to New York in 1945, he began to play with some of the most influential jazz musicians of the time, including Charlie Parker and Thelonious Monk. He went on to become a leader in the world of jazz, pioneering various styles such as cool jazz, modal jazz, jazz-fusion and electric jazz.

Some of his most standout albums include Kind of Blue (1959), Sketches of Spain (1960), Bitches Brew (1970) and Tutu (1986). Some of his most notable songs include "All Blues", "So What", "Flamenco Sketches" and "Tutu".

An interesting fact about Miles Davis is that he was the first jazz musician to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2006. He was also a pioneer in the world of fashion, being known for his dapper style and iconic look.
