The relaxed tempo and extensive arrangements form the basis over which Sam floats with his slightly melancholic voice, creating a mood that can heal any broken heart. With standards like "Willow Weep For Me," "I Wish You Love," and "For Sentimental Reasons," Cooke shows his quiet, emotional side without losing his flair for great melodies, which he carries with the power of his voice without being overbearing. Had Sam Cooke lived longer, we would have had more music of this rare quality, but as it is, we'll have to do with the treasures he left us. And now, for the first time in over 30 years,
