Tears For Fears

Tears For Fears is an English pop rock band formed in 1981 by Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith. The band became popular in the mid-1980s after the release of their hit single "Shout". Their other popular songs include "Everybody Wants To Rule The World", "Mad World", and "Head Over Heels".

The band's two most successful albums are 1985's Songs from the Big Chair and 1989's The Seeds of Love. Songs from the Big Chair featured the hits "Shout", "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" and "Head Over Heels". The Seeds of Love featured the hits "Sowing The Seeds Of Love", "Woman In Chains" and "Advice For The Young At Heart".

An interesting fact about Tears For Fears is that they are the only band to have two albums with over 5 million sales each in the UK. Songs from the Big Chair sold 6 million copies and The Seeds of Love sold 5 million copies.
