Texas Blues

Texas Blues is a style of blues music that originated in Texas in the early 20th century. It is heavily influenced by the Delta Blues of Mississippi and features a heavy guitar riff, usually accompanied by a piano, bass, and drums. Texas Blues is characterized by a more upbeat, driving sound and often includes horn sections. The style developed from the work of such legendary blues musicians as Blind Lemon Jefferson, Lead Belly, T-Bone Walker, and Lightning Hopkins. Texas Blues is also heavily influenced by Latin music, jazz, and country music.
