The Kinks Vinyl Records

The Kinks are an English rock band formed in Muswell Hill, London, in 1964 by brothers Ray and Dave Davies. The group initially consisted of the two Davies brothers, lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Ray Davies and lead guitarist and backing vocalist Dave Davies, along with Pete Quaife on bass and Mick Avory on drums.

The Kinks are known for their classic rock hits like "You Really Got Me" (1964), "All Day and All of the Night" (1964), "Tired of Waiting for You" (1965), "Lola" (1970), and "Come Dancing" (1983). They have released 24 studio albums and have sold over 50 million records worldwide.

The Kinks' stand-out albums include Something Else by The Kinks (1967), Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire) (1969), Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround, Part One (1970), The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society (1968), and Sleepwalker (1977).

An interesting fact about The Kinks is that they were among the first British Invasion groups to write and perform their own original material. They are widely regarded as one of the most influential rock bands of the 1960s and are considered one of the most important and influential bands of the 20th century.
