Tim Buckley was an American singer-songwriter and guitarist who was active from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. His music was influential in the genres of folk, jazz, rock, and psychedelic music. Buckley was known for his distinctive voice and his eclectic style, which blended elements of jazz, psychedelia, and soul.

Buckley's most successful album was his 1970 release Starsailor, which featured the songs "Song to the Siren" and "Sing a Song for You". His 1971 album Blue Afternoon was also critically acclaimed and featured the songs "Dolphins" and "No Man Can Find the War". Buckley's final album, Greetings from L.A., was released in 1972 and featured the song "Move With Me".

An interesting fact about Tim Buckley is that he was born Timothy Charles Buckley III, the son of musician and composer Tim Buckley Jr. He was also the half-brother of musician Jeff Buckley, who was born nine years after his father's death.
