The world's most successful rock band of modern times is back! On Oct. 21, 2011, Coldplay released "Mylo Xyloto" (pronounced: my-lo zy-letoe), their fifth, highly anticipated studio album. Markus Dravs, Daniel Green, Rik Simpson produced the follow-up to Viva La Vida (2008), which entered the charts at No. 1 in 36 countries, including U.K., U.S.A. and, of course, Germany. In addition, Brian Eno laid hands on the composition and production of the 14 tracks of the new work. The new single "Paradise" is after "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall" already the second harbinger of the new album, of which they have already performed 6 tracks live at this year's Rock am Ring and Rock im Park Festival in front of 140,000 spectators. For the first time on a Coldplay album there will be an artist feature, on the track "Princess Of China" US superstar Rhianna sings the female part, frontman Chris Martin says: "The album is designed like a stage play, with male and female roles. Rihanna plays the female lead, so to speak...".
