Gas – Pop (3xLP)

POP is generally regarded as the GAS album on which Wolfgang Voigt took the listener to a small clearing in the middle of his impenetrable, psychedelic forest. Originally released in 2000 on the legendary Frankfurt label Mille Plateaux, POP is considered a milestone in the history of GAS, attracting great international attention. The renowned American music magazine Pitchfork called POP "an exercise in sonic textures ... pure, acoustic velvet; densely layered drones that emanate a warmth you can actually feel".

POP was reissued in 2016 as part of the GAS "BOX" (now out of print) and finally POP is now released on Kompakt - for the first time on 180 gram 3xLP.
