  • Grant Lee Buffalo is an Americana/Indierock band from Los Angeles consisting of Grant Lee Phillips (Vocals, Guitar), Paul Kimble (Bass) and Joey Peters (Drums). All three were previously members of another Los Angeles band: Shiva Burlesque

    Grant Lee Buffalo, for their part, toured at the time with big bands like R.E.M., Pearl Jam, the Smashing Pumpkins and the Cranberries. Their 1993 debut, "Fuzzy," was a confident and crafted piece of rock with Phillip's great voice and good, moving songs. "Fuzzy" is deep and mysterious, yet at the same time beautiful and put together with love and imagination

    No wonder Grant Lee Buffalo became critics' favorites after the release of "Fuzzy." The original version of the album on vinyl is so rare these days that this reissue can only be welcomed with open arms. "The best album of the year hands down" (R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe, 1993)
