Inspired by 1960's Thai funk, the Texas trio Khruangbin released their debut album on the Late Night Tales artist label Night Time Stories. The ten tracks on "The Universe Smiles Upon You" shine with a bass and psychedelic sound between Thai funk, Tarantino soundtracks and surf rock. Bonobo (Ninja Tune) is considered a big Khruangbin fan and secured her tour support in the USA.
