  • After releasing his last two critically acclaimed albums ("TA13OO" and "ZUU") within 10 months of each other, Denzel Curry kicks off 2020 with a menacing and concise album produced entirely by Kenny Beats.

    "Unlocked" is the product of a manic 3 -day studio session that came about after Denzel participated in the recording for an episode of Kenny's YouTube show The Cave. While Denzel was very musically inspired by various members of the Wu-Tang Clan, Kenny taps his sound from the holy trinity: Madlib, Dilla & MF Doom
    Despite the classic influences, the sound of "Unlocked" is once again something completely new and it seems like Denzel is once again setting the tone for a new decade, just like he and the Raider Klan did back in the early 2010s.

    Each song on "Unlocked" is accompanied by a half live action, half stop animation film.
