  • "Give Me The Night" is the 1980 album by the altogether ten-time Grammy Award-winning musician George Benson. Produced by Quincy Jones and originally released on Jones' new label Qwest Records, the album climbed both the soul The album climbed to number one on both the soul and jazz charts No. 1 and entered the Billboard Pop Albums at No 3. The album features the number one singles, "Give Me The Night" and "Moody's Mood," which were recorded with R&B singer Patti Austin. The album was certified Platinum and more or less directly resulted directly into three Grammy wins in 1981: George Benson was named "Best R&B Vocalist" and for "Moody's Mood" as Best Jazz Vocalist, while "Off Broadway" won the award for Best R&B Instrumental Track." Quincy Jones and Jerry Hey also won also won a Grammy for "Best Instrumental Arrangement" for the song "Dinorah, Dinorah"
