Angel Olsen is an American singer-songwriter and musician from St. Louis, Missouri. She started out as a solo artist before forming her band Angel Olsen and the Impossible Three. She has released five solo albums, her latest being All Mirrors (2019). Her breakthrough came with her third album, Burn Your Fire for No Witness (2014), which was hailed as one of the best albums of the year. Her standout songs from this album include “Hi-Five”, “Unfucktheworld” and “White Fire”. Her fourth album, My Woman (2016), was her most successful to date, with songs such as “Shut Up Kiss Me” and “Sister” receiving critical acclaim.

An interesting fact about Angel Olsen is that she started out as a backing vocalist for Bonnie “Prince” Billy before embarking on her solo career. She has also toured with indie rockers Fleet Foxes and Wilco.
