Queen – Sheer Heart Attack

The musical development of the band Queen from their debut to their third album Sheer Heart Attack is remarkable. Only about 1.5 years lie between the releases, furthermore Brian May was temporarily absent from the recordings due to an illness. And yet: Sheer Heart Attack is the album with which Queen found her own sound. The single Killer Queen, written by Freddy Mercury, became a huge success. But also the other three band members appear here as songwriters and make the album an event with heavy guitars, pop hooks and their theatrical style.
