Ayers Rock

Ayers Rock is an Australian rock band formed in Melbourne in 1973. They were one of the most successful rock bands of the 1970s and early 1980s. Their music is often described as a fusion of hard rock, progressive rock and jazz.

The band's most successful albums were Big Red Rock (1975) and Beyond (1980). They are best known for their singles "Horse With No Name", "Lucky Star", "Big Red Rock", "Last Train To Nowhere", and "The Unspoken Word".

An interesting fact about the band is that they have performed at the Sydney Opera House multiple times over the years. They have also been inducted into the Australian Recording Industry Association's Hall of Fame.
