B.J. Thomas is an American singer and songwriter who has been active in the music industry since the 1960s. He is best known for his chart-topping hits such as "Hooked on a Feeling", "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head" and "I Just Can't Help Believing".

Thomas's breakout album was his 1968 self-titled debut album, which featured the hit single "Hooked on a Feeling". He followed up this success with the albums On My Way (1969), Most of All (1970) and Everybody's Out of Town (1972), all of which spawned several hit singles.

Thomas's most successful album is his 1972 release, I Just Can't Help Believing, which spawned the singles "I Just Can't Help Believing", "Rock and Roll Lullaby" and "Mighty Clouds of Joy". His other notable albums include Reunion (1975) and New Looks (1984).

An interesting fact about B.J. Thomas is that he is a five-time Grammy Award winner, having won the award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance in 1969 and 1970, and Best Male Country Vocal Performance in 1972, 1973 and 1975.
