Who soft earworms just get on your nerves, has exactly the opposite here. Songs like you've never heard them harder and more unrelenting. Burns sings as if he could save his soul with it, when he packs all the anger and power into it. It's rare to hear such honest music. Anyone who wants to pass arbitrary judgment on punk can't get past this recording. Whoever does it without knowing this disc must be called a charlatan. If you were allowed to own only one production of "Punk" - without hesitation it would be "Inflammable Material"...
