Billy Thorpe And The Aztecs Vinyl Records

Billy Thorpe and The Aztecs were an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1963. The band is best known for its hard rock sound, and their hits "Most People I Know (Think That I'm Crazy)", "Poison Ivy" and "Children of the Sun". The band's original lineup included Billy Thorpe on lead vocals and guitar, Vince Maloney on guitar, Warren ‘Pig’ Morgan on keyboards, Gil Matthews on bass and Johnny Dick on drums.

The band released several successful albums throughout their career, including Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs (1966), Strange Things (1967), The Hoax Is Over (1968), and Aztecs Live (1969). Their most successful album, however, was Most People I Know (Think That I'm Crazy) (1971), which was certified gold in Australia and was one of their most successful albums in the United States.

The band's most popular songs include "Most People I Know (Think That I'm Crazy)", "Poison Ivy", "Children of the Sun", "It's All Right", "Over the Rainbow", "Good Morning Little Schoolgirl" and "I Told the Brook".

An interesting fact about Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs is that they were the first Australian rock band to appear on the Ed Sullivan Show in the United States.
