Bollywood

Bollywood is the music of the Indian film industry and is a genre of Indian popular music. It is derived from the term "Bombay-Hollywood," which is a combination of the words "Bombay" (now known as Mumbai) and "Hollywood" (the center of the American film industry). The genre has evolved over time and is currently considered one of the most popular musical styles in the world. Bollywood music has its roots in the 1940s, when film songs began to be used as a promotional tool for films.
