Bossanova
Bossa Nova is a style of Brazilian music that was developed in the late 1950s and early 1960s. It combines elements of samba and jazz and is characterized by a laid-back, gentle rhythm and subtle use of syncopation. It is often used in film soundtracks and is associated with the cool style of the Brazilian beach culture of the time. Bossa Nova was popularized by musicians such as Antonio Carlos Jobim, João Gilberto, and Stan Getz.
