Suicide's groundbreaking debut album. Originally released on the Red Star label in 1977, the album received little recognition at the time, but over the years has become one of the most influential postpunk albums ever. Numerous publications have put it on the list of the best albums of all time. The number of bands that show themselves influenced by Suicide is also a legend. New Order, Depeche Mode, Bruce Springsteen, Moby, Soft Cell, The Jesus & Mary Chain, Primal Scream and Nick Cave are just a few of their declared fans. Suicide were formed in the early 70's and reappeared in 1976 in the heart of the New York punk scene.The band released and played acclaimed shows everywhere until 2015 - Alan Vegas death in July 2016 ended their existence.
