G-Funk
G-Funk, also known as gangsta-funk, is a subgenre of hip hop music that emerged in the early 1990s. It is characterized by a slower tempo and heavy use of synthesizers and samples from funk, soul, and R&B records, as well as an emphasis on lyrical content that often reflects the struggles of growing up in urban environments. It was popularized by artists such as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Warren G, and has since become one of the most influential styles of hip hop.
