"Sixteen Stone" is the debut album of the British rock band BUSH from the year 1994, widely regarded as the band's most famous album the disc reached number 4 in the billboard 200 charts and was also produced several successful singles. "Comedown" and "Glycerine" even reached number 1 of the Billboard Modern Rock Track charts and thus marked the greatest hits of the British rockers up to the today. Both singles also got into the Billboard Hot 100 and reached places 30 and 28."Sixteen Stone" almost received exclusively positive feedback from the music critics, who have been Sound as very impressive and similar to the Seattle grunge of the of that time. Over the years, Bush has distanced himself more and more of their grunge roots and published more rather experimental records, such as "Deconstructed" and "The Science Of Things".In April 2014 the Rolling Stone chose the Album in his "1994: The 40 Best Records From Mainstream Alternative's Greatest Year" list and ranked the work 39th. One Month later "Sixteen Stone" even landed on the 8 of the "10 Best Hard Rock Albums of 1994" list of the Rolling Stone. The album was released in July 2014 of Guitar World into the "Superunknown: 50 Iconic Albums That Defined 1994".
