Hawkwind Vinyl Records

Hawkwind is an English rock band, formed in London in 1969. It is considered one of the earliest space rock groups, and is known for its long-form, improvised live performances and its fusion of progressive rock and psychedelic rock. The group has seen numerous lineup changes over the years, with founder Dave Brock as the only consistent member.

Some of Hawkwind's most popular albums include In Search of Space (1971), Warrior on the Edge of Time (1975), and Quark, Strangeness and Charm (1977). These albums feature some of the band's most well-known songs, such as "Silver Machine", "Urban Guerilla", "The Watcher" and "Psychedelic Warlords".

An interesting fact about Hawkwind is that they have performed live with a large variety of different musicians, including Lemmy (of Motorhead), Simon House (of the band High Tide), and Robert Calvert (a poet and former RAF pilot). They have also collaborated with the likes of William S. Burroughs and Genesis P-Orridge.
