One of the biggest icons to emerge from the Warp Records label in the last 25 years is back: electronica pioneer Nightmares On Wax announces his new album "Shape The Future"!

The name Nightmares On Wax is still synonymous with a unique blend of hip-hop and soul, dub and club sounds - and on "Shape The Future" this tightrope walk, perfected over decades, sounds more fluid and coherent than ever before. Inspired by countless DJ sets and studio sessions in very different corners of the world, Nightmares On Wax once again underpins its exceptional position in the electronic music landscape with this latest sound update

The already released first single "Back To Nature", which addressed the connection between man and mother earth with shamanistic sounding vocals, was followed by the brand new single "Citizen Kane", for which George Evelyn brought Mozez and Allan Kingdom (Kanye West, Flume among others) to his side as vocal guests and which proves what a journey and development George has made over the course of his influential career. Relying even more than before on deep hip-hop drenched in gospel sounds and letting all his experience as a producer shine through, the new track still bears the unmistakable sonic stamp of Nightmares on Wax.
