In keeping with the 75th label anniversary and the worldwide LP revival, Blue Note boss Don Was has made an LP re-release campaign a top priority: no fewer than 100 Blue Note album classics are now being released in monthly seasons of 5 in the classic Analogue sound has been painstakingly remastered from the original tapes, pressed into 180g and made attractive for modern people with a download code. It starts with classics by Art Blakey, Eric Dolphy, John Coltrane, Larry Young and Wayne Shorter. And every month 5 more pearls will follow up to and including February next year.
