Hip Hop

Hip hop is a genre of music characterized by elements such as rap, DJing, sampling, scratching, and beatboxing. Its roots can be traced back to the late 1970s in the South Bronx area of New York City, where it began as an underground movement of African American youth. It grew to become an international phenomenon, spreading throughout the United States and the world. Hip hop has since evolved to include elements such as R&B, reggae, and even rock. Today, it is one of the most popular genres of music.
