Foals – Holy Fire

The Foals recorded "Holy Fire" in the London studio of the producers Flood & Moulder, who previously worked with the Smashing Pumpkins, PJ Harvey, Nine Inch Nails and The Killers, among others. The first result of this collaboration is a song called "Inhaler" - an electrifying, shamanistic piece of music that will purify the soul and resurrect the dead. Although heavier than anything the Foals have written before, the album is still permeated by the band's inimitable groove and funk. Although they haven't heard any music other than their own since their last album, the new album sounds "dirtier, murkier" and at the same time more danceable than the last one.
