Interpol Vinyl Records
Interpol is an American rock band that was formed in New York City in 1997. The band consists of vocalist/guitarist Paul Banks, lead guitarist Daniel Kessler, bassist Carlos Dengler and drummer Sam Fogarino.
Interpol's debut album, Turn on the Bright Lights, was released in 2002 and was critically acclaimed. It featured their biggest hit to date, "Obstacle 1". The album was certified gold in the United States. Their follow up album, Antics, was released in 2004 and included the singles "Evil" and "Slow Hands".
Interpol's third album, Our Love to Admire, was released in 2007 and featured the singles "The Heinrich Maneuver" and "Mammoth". The band's fourth album, Interpol, was released in 2010 and featured the single "Lights".
Interpol's fifth album, El Pintor, was released in 2014 and featured the singles "All the Rage Back Home" and "My Desire". The band's sixth album, Marauder, was released in 2018 and featured the single "The Rover".
An interesting fact about Interpol is that the band was initially called The Interpol and featured a different lineup. The original lineup consisted of Carlos Dengler, Daniel Kessler, Greg Drudy and Paul Banks. The band's name was shortened to Interpol in 1998.
