Jane Olivor is an American singer-songwriter and actress, best known for her late 1970s hit songs “Stay the Night” and “The Last Time I Made Love”. She began her career as a Broadway actress, appearing in shows such as “1776” and “The Student Gypsy”. In 1974, she released her first album, “The Traditional”. Her follow-up album, “Chasing Rainbows” (1976), was her first to make the charts, reaching #24 on the Billboard 200. Her most successful album was 1977’s “Storybook Children”, which spawned the hits “Stay the Night” and “The Last Time I Made Love”, both reaching the Top 10 on the Adult Contemporary chart. Her other popular songs include “If I Should Love Again”, “Just You and Me” and “Take Me Home”.

An interesting fact about Jane Olivor is that she is the first artist to record a song written by the legendary Billy Joel. The song was “Piano Man”, which was featured on her 1976 album “Chasing Rainbows”.
