Prince – The Vault... Old Friends 4 Sale

Using archive material recorded between 1985 and 1994, Prince rather reluctantly delivered "The Vault: Old Friends 4 Sale" to Warner Bros. in 1996 to fulfill his contract with them. The label finally released it in 1999, three years after releasing his last real Prince album (Chaos And Disorder), but promotion was minimal. The Purple One was, of course, miles away creatively by this point. The jazzy, stripped back and thoroughly mesmerizing album included the single "Extraordinary".
