Jon & Vangelis Vinyl Records

Jon & Vangelis were a collaboration between the English progressive rock singer Jon Anderson and the Greek electronic composer Vangelis. The two first began working together in 1980 with the release of the album Short Stories, which peaked at number 20 on the UK charts. This was followed by the albums The Friends of Mr. Cairo (1981) and Private Collection (1983), both of which reached the top 10 in the UK.

The duo's most successful album was 1984's The Best of Jon & Vangelis, which reached number 4 in the UK and number 6 in the US. The album featured the single "I'll Find My Way Home", which became a minor hit on both sides of the Atlantic. Other notable songs from the duo include "State of Independence", "He Is Sailing", and "The Mayflower".

An interesting fact about Jon & Vangelis is that their albums featured contributions from notable musicians like Herbie Hancock, Sting, and Phil Collins. They also wrote and produced the theme song for the 1982 movie Blade Runner, which has gone on to become one of the most famous pieces of film music in history.
